Fall is officially here, and Henry County is full of ways to enjoy the season! From pumpkin patches and fairs to trunk-or-treats and spooky nights out, October is the perfect time to get out and enjoy our community.

Here are five ways to make the most of fall and Halloween in Henry County this October:

1. Visit Southern Belle Farm

It wouldn't be fall in Henry County without a trip to Southern Belle Farm! Their fall season features a pumpkin patch, four-acre corn maze, hayrides, pig races, a cow train, corn cannons, a jumping pillow, barnyard animals and more. The 2026 fall season runs through November.

2. Check Out the Henry County Fair

The 2026 Kiwanis Henry County Fair returns to Nash Farm in Hampton October 13–18! Enjoy carnival rides, fair food, live entertainment, a petting zoo, circus performances and more. It's a classic fall tradition the whole family can enjoy.

3. Find a Trunk-or-Treat

There are plenty of ways for little ghosts and goblins to fill their candy buckets this October! Check out the Locust Grove Trunk or Treat & Hayride on October 23, Beary Scary Sanctuary at Noah's Ark on October 24 or Boo Bash at Tanger Outlets on October 30.

4. Make It a Spooky Night Out

Looking for something a little more spooky? Check out a local ghost tour in historic downtown McDonough. Southern Ghost Tours offers lantern-led walking tours featuring local history, folklore and reported paranormal stories.

5. Bring the Fall Fun Home

You don't have to leave home to enjoy the season! Decorate your porch with pumpkins and mums, carve jack-o'-lanterns, gather around the fire pit or host a Halloween movie night with the neighbors.

Some of the sweetest fall memories happen right at home.
